PS Vita owners haven't had that much to fall back on since the console launched. A handful of decent launch titles, some average releases since, and the promise of big third-party titles that just don't seem all that special.

But while the CoD's and Assassin's Creed's might be the franchises that attract the masses to Vita, those that have already invested actually have plenty of reason to hold onto their powerful portable.

Here's eight niche games to keep a look out for on PlayStation Network for PS Vita. Which ones are you looking forward to the most?

Tearaway looks great. I loved Jet Set Radio on Dreamcast (love) so I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on it for Vita. =D
Yep makes me wanna run out and buy a Vita tomorrow! :P
I think all these games are pretty good but I do have to agree with the other comments, tearaway is a good example of the controls on vita and is a very interesting title.
If I didn't have a Vita, these titles wouldn't even bring me close to deciding to get one
All of them look good but Persona 4, AC: Liberation, Killzone: Mercenary and New Little King's Story is all I want. I hope CAPCOM brings Monster Hunter to the Vita.
some of these seem to hold a bit of promise
it so sucks that i want to get vita - looks like a good handheld system - unfortunately, it seems that from a distance most of its current library seems to be trying to replicate gameplay conventions of ios titles, which strikes me as missing the point of the system's potential strengths....weaksauce :(
