MMGN.com's Batman Arkham City Review
Batman: Arkham City does so much right in offering a rewarding sense of progression. This action-adventure brawler expands on what its predecessor in Arkham Asylum did so well, giving gamers a larger world, more unlockables, more villains and more reasons to play through it multiple times.
The satisfying combat is complimented by a fantastic array of weapons, with some deep stealth elements that make for a balanced, deep and varied experience. The game's upgrading system gives you a fantastic sense of reward, making the game that little bit more satisfying alongside its engaging and addictive combat mechanics. Its rich and inviting world opens the door to a number of great side quests, adding value and replayability that dictates multiplayer playthroughs.
Without a doubt, Batman: Arkham City is considerably better than its predecessor, which was a fantastic award-winning game on its own accord. Everything from the story, side quests, characters and design help create an inviting and engaging world, complimented by a deep and rewarding combat system. With Batman’s tools of the trade available on a considerably higher capacity, Arkham City gives you more control than ever over the caped crusader.
