We've just received our newest Playstation 3 (unofficially named PS3 Slim) and we thought it best to show of the beast in all of its glory!

We know there are some of you who are still undecided about whether or not to upgrade to the new hardware, and if our PS3 Phat vs. PS3 Slim guide didn't help you, then maybe these hot quality images of the console below will persuade you either way.

Pic No. 17.

See that rectangle in the middle, closer to the right of the console? You flick that open, unscrew the blue screw and slide the HDD out.

It's... not that much smaller?

I'm glad they ditched the Spiderman font though, looks a lot better with a PS2-esque logo and a matte finish IMO. Kind of seems to me what the PS3 should have looked like to begin with.

Yep and not even much thinner and looks very cheap and like its worth nothing compared to the phat.

hmmm... it looks alright but without the shinme it just doesnt look as good as the phat model. i suppose it'll age better though, because my phat has fingerprints all over it
