It's not looking good for GAME in the UK. They are no longer stocking EA games and not getting Capcom either as of today.

GAME Australia are still getting them, but who knows what it means for the future, since it wasn't all that long ago that they downsized quite a bit here.

No GAME would mean EB would be the last dedicated game store franchise in Aus (well and Gametraders but they're more and more infrequent as well).

Meh, they already closed down in Geelong. I won't care if the EBs go too. I buy games online 'cause Aus prices are ridiculous.

the only GAME store I knew of has closed its doors. just thought the mall was a bit slow ...but i was unaware that the business might have been in trouble ..hope thats not the case.

The only real gaming store i used was Games Wizard. Not sure if it was owned by another company or what not, But i got all my games from there in the ps2 days.

Game Wizards Gold Card was awesome. Got a few vouchers from getting a certain amount of points + the staff were into games and knew alot about them.

Then it closed :(

it doesn't bother me. i prefer retro so i just buy from cashies and gametraders and for most of my games i get them online now. (Not from MyGames)
