From DC to Marvel and Web Comics to The funnies you find in the morning paper, comics can be found in lots of places. I read comics everyday, and have been for many years. This thread is for anyone and everyone who wants to talk about comics.

You read a lot of VG Cats and you want to talk about it? Do so here. You like to buy printed comic Books? Discuss what you're reading! There re so many different comics out there, surely there's much to discuss.

This thread is meant for proper discussions. Saying things like "DC suck, Marvel is better!" will absolutely not be tolerated. If you can't be civil and respect what other people are saying, then don't post here. Let's all play nice.

So I read a lot of Marvel comics these days. I've got about 15 different ongoing series that I read frequently. Since I stated my job in the city, I've got lots of time on the train, so reading more comics seeme like a good idea to me. I read a lot of Web Comics too, probably not as much as I used to though.

Right now, I'm reading the latest Secret Avengers HC collected Volume. What are you guys reading?

I use to collect a lot of comics as a kid. And I do still have them somewhere. But I only bought what I could afford so never really followed a certain series, just what looked good on the self that week is what I read.

I did collect all the Simpsons comics for a few years, but stop when I got older. I still read them when ever I dig one up. I have a box of them somewhere.

simpsons ones were so good.. i collected Garfield ones though.. Had nearly every book no joke.. even cut out all the comics from the herald sun.. i sadly dont read them anymore :(

Then you need to renew that membership and read lots of marvel! Then we can talk about things!

@Mandy I adore Garfield. When I was in Primary (and the start of High School) I would collect the strip from the paper each day. When I discovered the Internet, I began printing off all old Garfield comics. The library printer at high school screwed up once for about 3 months and never charged for printing. Naturally I printed off about 5 years worth of Garfield comic strips. I did the same for Sam and Fuzzy (a great web comic I have unfortunately stopped reading).

I just went to my local comic shop and added Age of Apocalypse to my current standing order. Do you guys have a favorite series? Mine would have to be Venom at the moment. The new Venom is more of a Mercenary (he looks similar to Deadpool now) who uses weapons other than just the Symbioyte itself. At first I was like "where the hell is te big Venom!? Why does he look like Deadpool!? Where's Eddie Brock go?", bust after I read the first Arc of the series I realized how awesome it is.

I mainly just collect TPBs. I find it too expensive to buy comics when they first come out. I'm kind of tempted to read the new Brian K Vaughan series, Saga, though. Anybody reading it? I got the first issue and it seemed interesting.

@Krycek I've heard good things about saga. I might have a read of it digitally, if it's any good ill pick up the retail version.

@MicDaMan wow, that's a nice looking collection. I've got a couple predator comics, mainly the Kindred Mini Series and one Alien Vs Predator series too. I used to collect Bart Simpson comics when I was a little younger. I've been collecting Sonic Comics for a whole now though, probably the only series I've still kept up with since I was a kid.

Anyone remember Simpsons Illustrated? They came out for a few years before the comics. Such a great read.

Also you might not see in the picture but there are about 20 MAD magazines, NOW there is some fun reading *_*

I heard average things about XMEN and Fantastic Four. When I have a few extra bucks I'll probably pick up Xmen. I will probably buy Daredevil this week though, and I'll definitely get Spider-Man when it's released. What else do you read, Rashy?

My girlfriend lives above a comic book shop (Which her Dad owns) so I'm pretty frequently buying comics now. And yeah he's trying to get me reading The Boys. (And Crossed, which his daughter isn't allowed to read :P)

I'm reading a lot of DC, not really any marvel.
Batman (Seriously, this is one of the best bat stories I've ever read. The Art when he was going insane was so awesome!
