From DC to Marvel and Web Comics to The funnies you find in the morning paper, comics can be found in lots of places. I read comics everyday, and have been for many years. This thread is for anyone and everyone who wants to talk about comics.

You read a lot of VG Cats and you want to talk about it? Do so here. You like to buy printed comic Books? Discuss what you're reading! There re so many different comics out there, surely there's much to discuss.

This thread is meant for proper discussions. Saying things like "DC suck, Marvel is better!" will absolutely not be tolerated. If you can't be civil and respect what other people are saying, then don't post here. Let's all play nice.

No to watchman. Just read the first volumes of animal man, batman and American vampire. All are great but I gotta say that animal man is something special. For a slimmer trade paperback it's epic. I recommend it.

@Shiv I also have mixed feelings regarding Watchmen. They've talked for years about doing something else with the original creative team. This feels a little like a cash grab though.

@marvelxmen Animal Man is great. I think that and Wonder Woman are the most under rated of the new 52.

I've heard praise for Animal Man in lots I'd places, I'm considering starting to read that and Batman.

Avenging Spider-Man #5 was great. It was charming, had great art and a good story. It's bit too often we get to see a more raw human interaction with Spidey.

Lol my wonder woman trade should arrive next week. I'll give the night of the owls trade a shot before I decide wether to stick to batman. It's good but I'm not a huge fan if batman in general. But the writing end most the art is great. I'm dropping house of mystery as well. So my reading list is as follows. Wonder woman, animal man, swamp thing, American vamp, thunderbolts, amazing spider man, ultimate spiderman, ultimates, wolverine and the x men, xforce, daredevil, buffy, fables, journey into mystery, ff, fantastic four, marvels wizard of oz adaptations. Eventually SAGA as well

Just finished Hulk volume 5. The whole series started good, got really stupid and then got good again. I'm very excited to read volume 6 (you find out who red hulk is)

I know who he is too. If you google Red Hulk it takes you to the page of his real identity. I was kind of annoyed that I knew, but I'll read it nonetheless. I'm surprised how long it went before it was revealed. At least 2 years into the comics life.

Saga is really growing on me. Does anybody know how long it is planned to go for? I have assumed that due to the fact they are calling issues Chapters, that it won't be a lengthy series... but everything on the net seems to indicate it'll just keep going.

Also working my way through Captain America volume 5, loving it.

I assume it will keep running for a while. Still I'd guess 70-80 issues.

Oh ma gah. Hulk is actually getting interesting now.Starting with issue 25 the art is different, more dark and gritty. I dig it.

Also Wednesday is new comic boook day! I'm looking forward to reading the new spiderman on the way home.

What Marvel did here was just awesome thedailywh.at/... Basically there's a kid that deaf in one ear a partially deaf in the other so he needs to wear a hearing aid. Eventually wearing that hearing air made him depressed so he stopped wearing it. His mother sent a letter to Marvel and they did all kinds of awesome for him even made a new comic book character based off him.
