This is without a doubt the biggest, most complex and most exciting development and change to ever happen at MyMedia.

I was trying to make my point but it isn't working... :/

Basically there is a 1500 character limit in each post and if it hits 1500 it will still cut off about a line of works. But you wouldn't know this cause you never post more than 5 words.

Also, if you edit a post that has a link in it you have to delete the a=<herf> stuff it adds to it to make it a link in the post.

Get me?

That's 1500 exact, BBKing. That works fine.

Also, editing links refers to... posting a link to an external site (ie google.com/search=searchgoeshereorwhateverhteurlissupposedtobe).. If you want to edit your post (say, you added a letter onto the url by mistake) then the link shows up as 'google.com' when editing.

Yeah, that was 1500 but I think it only happens with proper paragraphs.

What I was actually trying to do was post 1500 charaters and expected less to actually be posted, but it didn't happen.

But yeah, I just edited a post which had a link in it but didn't have all the <a href="htp://www.mehwii.com/</a> funk in it.

Maybe it's random? :/

Yes, but it should display in BBcode when you edit your post. It normally does now, so I don't think it's as big of an issue as it once was (also, it's pretty easy to fix, just delete the basic html the forms around it).

I really don't know. But, I know what would fix it. If tag <a herf= ... </a> is typed in a post don't add it again if it's already there?? :/ I don't even know why it happens, but I know that for the link to appear in the post it needs that HTML code for it to be hot linkable, right?

Have you or haven't you seen what I am talking about?

Basically if a user adds HTML code, it shouldn't not understand it. Get me? :/ It's added for ease, right? So you don't get people saying "MAHH LINK DOSENT WERK!!!"

It doesn't understand it, that's why nothing happens. But it's harder to reproduce now, so something specifically causes it. Doesn't happen all the time.

I think the site believes that enter counts counts as a character, as you can press it to boost your character count so that you don't get the error "your post is to short"

html has to be disabled, or you can screw up pages (and jackasses will) so it'll always be this way. It doesn't know it added the picture coding, it assumes you did and doesn't understand that. Get it?

I think it's a fairly minor glitch that'll hopefully be fixed in the general tidy up. Wouldn't worry about it until we see it on the final build of MMGN in a few months.

Yeah, sure. No worries. Just thought I'd ask.

I think cause just last night, I edited a post about 10 timesto make it look how I wanted because of that glitch. I raged.

Maybe, I don't think so though. I know it was recently fixed at My360. It's only a couple of words (I think more cut off characters than enters??).

The problem is the pics tag, I'm guessing. Not sure if it's the same with forums but editing reviews with [*pic] tags really screws you over.
