40 Medals to be issued

The second last medal in the Retro Series medal and probably the most sort after by Sony fans, I hope you have been collecting them all. This time it's Sony's first home gaming console the Playstation also referred to as the PS1. Sony decided to take their own slice of the videogames market and did they ever! with over 100 million units sold world wide. Catering more towards the mature gamers Sony offered something Nintendo were short off.

How do I get one?
All that is needed to get this medal to call your profile home is to answer the following 5 questions and send it to me or any other admin via a PM. Use what ever resource you have at your disposal to gather the answers, Google, personal knowledge, time travel, that nerdy kid up the road that never leaves his house, what ever as long as you send me the correct answers you can get a medal.

 • 1.What year was the PS1 first released?
 • 2.Did Sony make the sound chip for the Super Nintendo?
 • 3.Was the Playstation intended to be a CD add-on for the Super Nintendo?
 • 4.Is the Playstation a 32bit system?
 • 5.How was game data(save files/high scores) saved on the PS1?

Rules
 • You are allowed to get one question wrong, so 4 out 5 questions answered correctly will still get you the medal.
 • If you get more than one question wrong you have one more chance to get it right. If that's the case you'll receive a PM stating you have to resubmit your answers.
 • Medals will be issued in time order of receiving the PM. For example if Jonny Member sent his PM at 2.00pm and Joe Member sent his a 2.05, Jonny Member would get his medal first.
 • Please don't keep asking for your medal as it will be issued ASAP and a PM will be sent to you if you have gotten them all correct.
 • Important Rule! Please DO NOT post the answers in this thread or else you will ruin it for everyone and you will not get a medal.
