Welcome to the MyPS3 Folding@Home official team thread!

Our team number is 60766.

The Folding@Home application can be found under Network in the PS3 XMB. To join the MyPS3 team, open up Folding@Home, go to options, identity and then join an existing team.

Folding@Home is an application which you can download for your PS3 which helps medical research on protein folding for Stanford University. Further knowledge of how protein molecules behave will hopefully lead to cures for diseases such as Alzheimers, Hungtintons as well as some forms of cancer. Please contribute as much as you can, as every bit of help counts.

these wars are bringing us up in the team rankings sooo bloody quickly guys. we were team no 1450 about a week ago, 1432 only a couple of days later. and right now i cant even browse the pages on my 64k so i dont know where we are but i wouldnt be surprised if we had cracked 1400 by now.......either way, lately we have been climbing astronomically, its been very noticeable.....keep it up guys

everyone do an extra 5 minutes a day for me until i can get back in action on saturday eh

rig them to one tv, split screen, that wud solve alot of problems that some games have for multiplayer purposes i.e. with friends at your place. keep the LAN, but alot of games do need the split screen option just like the old Nintendo 64 ( W00T go 64 )

I've pretty much had my computer on all the time except for when I need to sleep folding away. If I owned a PS3 then I'd probably use that for folding too. It's all for the greater good.

Do you have a dual-core or quad-core? Are you using the SMP client as well?

I just want to know approximately how long it takes an average computer to complete one WU ...

of course you can, simply input the team number into the program then, ask an admin to put your name into the team list on the first page of this forum!!

press the triangle button, go down to...i think it under team...or something like that...just look for it in the menu and put it in. quite simple, id give more detail but mums watching a movie. hope i was some help
