psn error 80710A06 - Locked

i have this error, googled it and got this

"80710A06 - An error occurred during the install operation (error when downloading game from PSN - network error occured"

i havent turned my ps3 on for like a week, wtf is this about?

@Kenni - Yeah, But given the circumstances, It's possible. Probably not easily, But it wouldn't be impossible. It is pretty dodgy.

@W84N01 Don't they have to always give a heads up? Especially if it's a full PSN shutdown? :S

I got this error when I turned my ps3 on last night to play The fancy pants adventures demo I downloaded earlier (funny as game by the way) but I just played through the demo then went to bed so I didn't realise the whole psn was down until I turned on my psp to see if there were any new demos for that and it wouldn't connect.
I thought it might have been down for maintenance, like a big upgrade or something.
Guess I will get some more offline games finished, lol. Got 10 days off work and I am planning to finally start god of war 3, especially since it looks like a 4th will be coming out :P

i have both systems and i nvr had a problem with ps3 i love it but i am forced to play the shitty XBL becuse of sonys f up ive had the ps3 for 4 yrs nvr had a problem but with the xbox ive gone thro 4 in 3 yrs so im playin mw2 on xbl and it sucks connection is shit i nvr had this type of problem on the ps3 and the ppl on the ps3 r way better
