Apparently Sony is teaming up with AT&T for the 3G.

Also looks liek it'll be AU$300 here instead of the suggested AU$400+

games.on.net/...

Still cheaper in US ;).

Me too. This could so easily have been closer to $500AU
I'm actually gobsmacked at the $300 price. The 3DS will need an imminent price drop if it has any chance of succeeding.

Love the price. Great move by Sony.
Am still on the fence about handhelds though. I have my iPhone and it seems to doubt in saying that I'll buy this day 1. I am a sucker for new tech.

I just felt the 3DS didn't interest me. If they announce a Pokemon game that looks really awesome, or get some really awesome RPGs, or it even gets a flashcart so I can program for it, then I'll get one. Till then, Zelda is ew.

I've had my PSP since September 2005.

I think I'll grab this on launch as well. The entry price has really got me. I wonder if it it'll be the same deal as with the PS3, underselling the cost price of the unit in hopes of making back that money on games and other sales.
