My stupidity? I think you are mistaking that for simple common sense.
Your assumptions (gaming on handhelds is just for kids) is laughable and archaic. It's not 1994 anymore.
But alas your argument has no backing other than the usual troll firepower.

Games on consoles are for adults but the exact same game on a handheld is for children? ...children dont own ps3's do they.

I'm 27 (the 84 in my PSN name below hints towards this)
I do not own a handeheld (unless an iPhone counts)
I bought a psp on launch 6 years ago and sold it because it was not my thing.
I have never owned a DS.
I am considering the Vita, may or may not get it.
That's my story, just. To clear up the confusion you seem to be having.
All I am saying is your branding of handhelds childish and only for kids is archaic, laughable and reminds me of an old man trying to tell his grandkids that games are bad and will destroy your life.
Maybe it makes you uncomfortable that Normal adults can enjoy a handheld, that is your problem and sad to boot.
Your own insecurities have nothing to with other adults choices. Maybe you need some counseling?
Or maybe you need to learn how to troll better, because currently you are really really struggling.

I actually read that in the new guidelines for an 18+ rating for Australia, games store will not be allowed to sell any handheld to anyone over 18. if court they face heavy fines and imprisonment. It is in the draft of the guidelines.
They state 'this will ensure no full grown adult over the age of 18 will be subjected to the effects handheld gaming will have one them'.
It is good to see our government is not only protecting the kids but also the adults from these childish handhelds.
