I actually thought the trailer was fantastic. The new Dante looks great as well; teenager, doesn't give a crap about anyone or anything. This teenage Dante definitely looks like what he would look like young, so I think they got it spot on (based on old Dante). I guess it's fitting for the emo, smackhead generation.

EDIT: And please keep your homophobic jabs to yourself.

Apparently Dantes character will evolve over the course of the game, so it's possible we may actually see him turn into the Dante we all know and love later in the game.

Because that's the official name of this series reboot, it's called DMC, but it initially stands for Devil May Cry.

Edit: A video interview was done at Playstation.Blog
on the game, it's worth the watch. I have faith that Ninja Theory wont screw this up.

Had me going when he showed his real hair colour till it was just part of some power-boost. I'm liking the gameplay at least.

Dante's now half Angel half Demon in this game apparently, and is trying to deal with it. Rebellion has two styles, one being good and one being bad with the moveset changing for each. The gameplays sounding good.

Oh and apparently theres going to be some 'familiar faces' in this game, so expect more characters we know and love to be changed in appearance. :/

The director of the game must think highly of himself. :P

They're trying to change little bits and pieces of the character model to make him appeal more, I guess. If you're talking about the hair colour change, that's just a transformation, kind of like what a demon trigger was in the earlier ones.

I also think it's to show how Dante 'evolves' in this game, and through the course of this game turns into the one we all know and love. (I think Capcom said something along this lines in an interview)

This game's starting to grow on me more. The stage design looks great, the environments look great! Not suprised seeing as how it's Ninja theory developing it. And the gameplay looks like it's finally getting less repetitive, and more Devil May Cry fun.

One thing it also looks like Ninja theory got right is the platforming elements, like gripping onto something to get further, majority of the time in Devil May Cry games I feel they were pretty meh and not fun at all, but this actually looks like it'll be enjoyable to swing from platform to platform.

Me too. Kind of makes the whole "anti-emo Dante" cry seem kind of pathetic. It looks awesome.

The gameplay looks pretty good, but I'm not liking where the rest of this game is heading looking at the latest trailer, which is a darn shame. Kind of wishing they just made a Devil May Cry 5 instead now.

Yeah, the gameplay is looking pretty good. Dante's new attitude is gonna get on my nerves soon, I seriously hate punks. He should let his weapon do the talking more.
