Pandemic

So, E3 2012 kicks off in a week, starting on the 5th of June, to the 7th of June.

Threads based on the conferences for Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo will most likely be created on the day of their conference, but this will hopefully be used for the other conferences such as EA, Ubisoft, and developers. Along with gaming news, trailers, and other E3 related content. Basically, anything related to E3.

Is Splinter Cell 6 Called Black List?
New reports suggest that the next Splinter Cell game is set to be announced at E3. According to a rumor, the game will be called Splinter Cell: Black List and is currently scheduled for a January 2013 release. It’s said to be headed to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.

Sony close to agreeing cloud gaming acquisition

In a move that will rock the next generation of console gaming, Sony is close to agreeing an acquisition of a high profile cloud gaming firm, MCV understands.

It was reported earlier this week that Sony was to reveal a partnership with a cloud gaming firm – specifically either OnLive or Gaikai – at E3 next week.

Subsequent chatter had seemingly calmed the rumours, suggesting that the proposed agreement was to do with Sony streaming TV services, and not consoles.

However, MCV understands that the deal is far more extensive than anyone could have predicted and will see Sony fully acquire one of the two firms. The deal, our source says, “is close to being signed”.

Tomorrow, at 3PM, Sydney time, I think, Gametrailers will be showing a Tomb Raider gameplay trailer, Dishonored gameplay trailer, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, unannounced Konami title and an unannounced Star Wars title.

Pretty interested to see some Dishonored gameplay.

Sony Details “DanceStar Party Hits”
Sony has just sent over the first details for DanceStar Party Hits, another dancing game from the SingStar crew.

Following on from the last DanceStar Party game, Hits will feature 40 brand new tracks which, according to the press release, gives you the chance to “perfect your swagger” with real-time video feedback.

I wonder if they'll unveil the name change for FFXIII Versus to FFXV & the announcement that it'll also be released on the Wii-U at E3?

Rumour suggests FFXIII Versus has had name change

Cheers to Matrix for the link, wonder if it's legit haven't seen that cutscene footage before so it could be & a Wii-U release doesn't surprise me.

Pretty epic huh? I want to see that footage from the private viewing, I haven't seen that clip they were shown before hopefully there's a decent trailer at E3.

I notice it's PS3 & WiiU only, timed exclusive for those two consoles maybe?

Would explain why N4G and other websites haven't run with it but I expect the name change & WiiU release anyway.

It didn't have much to do with FXIII so not sure why it was called FFXIII Versus to begin with when it's a complete standalone game & not a spinoff.

Guess we'll find out at Nintendos E3 presentation.

There looked to be a few refferences to XIII here and there (etro), so I can see why they still included it into Fabula Nova Crystallis.

But yeah, probably better as a standalone title separate from the 13 universe.

A Modern-Day Game Genie for the PS3 Will Debut at E3, Offer ‘Maximum Lives’
The Game Genie died, but now it's back. It's actually been back since earlier in the year for DS, through a company called Hyperkin. Next week at E3, the same people are showing off a Game Genie for PS3.
