yeah mine froze a couple times last night too..not too sure if i like it yet. its quite different to fifa 10

I'm on the 1.01 patch and i get pretty bad freezing,simple things like adjusting sound is laggy and the menus stutter.

Crashed twice.

On the pitch though is okay except for the occasional wrong crowd chant or menu music playing still after pausing.

This was never a problem with FIFA10 or FIFA World Cup.......not happy!

Granted there have been bugs in the past, I haven't experienced one breakdown or bug thus far.
I don't understand this hatred towards EA.

FIFA10, especially Manager Mode, was a total **** up. The EA forums have only just started to cool down following the torrent of rage that was deservedly dished out to them for that. I think the actual on-field gameplay was a decent step up last year, but they tried to do too much. They claimed MM to be this incredible game mode, and made it one of the game's top selling points yet it was so crammed full of absurd glitches that it was almost unplayable.
I haven't played FIFA11 yet, but the signs aren't promising.

Oh and don't get me started on Ultimate Team... They should be sued for that.

Yup, the career mode is very different to FIFA10. Very, very different. I've played around 5 hours of player manager as a goalkeeper and the thing about being a goalkeeper is you get to really see the personality+ of your players really well. e.g, Nani is a hog who does to much tricks, Vidic is really agressive, Fabregas does awesome passes etc.

WTF is with FIFA11.

Everything takes a lifetime to load, impossible to find a ****ing ranked game and i connect to the ea servers and once i start a game it kicks me out and says you have been disconnected from the EA servers.

This is bullshit. All i want to do is enjoy the game and get some online matches started and completed. [Rage]

I haven't had a single problem with FIFA 11 apart from the fact that the last one I bought was 05 and things have changed a lot and I suck balls at this game. But it's really fun. Being a Goalkeeper is a nice addition to the series. I'm yet to try online but no lagging for me :D

I haven't played online in 11, but in 10 both players could select to go to (1) Extra time with penalties; (2) Extra time (no penalties); or (3) take the draw. If different options are selected, it ends as a draw.

Both players have a choice. Either:

Extra time only
Extra time and penalty shootout, or
End the match as a draw

Both players need to pick the same option or the match will just finish as a draw. I personally don't like penalty shootouts so i never choose that option unless its with a friend.

I'm pretty sure they had this for Fifa10 as well

It has frozen on me a few times, but the manager mode is brilliant. Infinitely better than the crap they called manager mode last year.

I love how they have made it harder as well, i have played in legendary mode an have won 4, drawn 2 and lost 2. playing the same teams in fifa it would be so much easier.
