And the way its looking, the last two game purchases that I would of made is Fifa 12 and then 13 when it comes out. Depressing.

did you pre-order the collectors or ultimate edition??? i might get the collectors as it has the 6 month free gold pack included as well.. i dont want all that junk just the codes...

FIFA guy said in the article I posted that you don't get cautioned, the commentators will comment on it and it will impact the stories in the news part in career mode.

I just did standard. The reason being is that I've never played ultimate team. :S
I'll give it a play in Fifa 12 and see if I like it. But yea like you said, all the physical extras in the special editions are pretty useless to me. :P

FIFA 13: ‘Skill games will put hardcore players to the test’ – EA[/

Producer at EA Games Canada told VG247 that Skill Games was borne from FIFA 13′s improved Player Impact Engine, which enabled the team to place physical objects in the environment – such as smacking targets, knocking over piles of boxes and more.

“We’ve done Skill Games around having the Impact Engine,” Channon explained, “and our physics allows us to have objects in the world that the ball would react to. So Skill Games was driven by that technology.

“For us, Skill Games were two-fold: One, we brought in an interactive tutorial to teach players the new defending mechanic and the feedback we got from that was, ‘That was great, but why didn’t you teach me the fundamentals of passing and shooting?’” Channon continued.

“We thought ‘OK, this is something we need to look at’, so yes, one reason for Skill Games was to build those fundamentals, and to teach everyone all the core parts of our game. But it was also to create Skill Games that more hardcore football fans would find a real challenge as well.”

Got a feeling all these new features are just marketing ploys and they won't be used more than once. Anywaaay:

Match Day will allow you to play real-life games as the season unfolds in real time. So for the end of the EPL season they were able to have Martin Tyler talking about the actual situation.

I like this bit: "Player stats will for the first time change depending on how each player performs during the season. Say one play hits a rich vein of form, and starts scoring a hat-trick every week, his vitals will rocket. It forces players to change their team and formation based on real-world developments."

The FIFA 13 demo will be available on September 11.

Im not to sure if I'll get this, unless its a major improvement. I kinda hope PES13 will be better this year. In fifa its too easy to run down the wing into the forward area to score

I quite like the PES demo, BUT there's a massive learning curve with the manual shots system. You'll need to invest time into learning that for it to be any good.

For Ultimate Team fans, you can go to www.chuzzz.com/... to see the attributes and full database of players to feature in UT13. Some minor updates are expected, particularly to recently transferred players, but overall it should be highly accurate.

I want the demo now so I can make my decision already.
Is there much hope the demo won't be larger than a gig? last years was about 1.2 gigs which can be a little daunting for a demo.
