Batman: Arkham Asylum is an upcoming video game for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Microsoft Windows, and is based on DC Comics' Batman. It is being developed by Rocksteady Studios and will be published by Eidos Interactive in conjunction with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics. It is based on the long-running comic book mythos, as opposed to most other Batman games which are adaptations of the character in other media besides the source material.

Release Date: August 2009

That's the only way to get it. Once you sign up and then 'activate' your account, they'll send/email you the discount voucher. Just be warned that the voucher is only valid for 7 days from the day you activate your account. I'd advise you to activate your account on the same week the game is released.

I not sure about this.

Just watched a trailer and there is definitely alot of hype building around it.

Most games that are ported from movies don't work. I think that the only game that I've ever thought lived up to the film, was the Fight Club game on PS2 and most people actually hated it.

I played the demo of the Watchmen game and switched it off and deleted it before I'd even finished the demo.

It does look pretty cool, but I'm definitely going to wait for a demo before committing to a purchase.

heya guys,

i've been in contact with Eidos and Atari in the past week and both of them are saying end of July / early August at this stage.

Amazon in the U.S. is listing the 1st of September to be safely behind the date estimated street date. i.e. if a customers buys it from Amazon expecting to receive it on the 01/09 and it arrives in their mailbox on the 25/08, they will be stoked. If a customers orders it expecting it on the 01/08 and it doesn't arrive until the 25/08, they will be upset.

I think JB has just taken their estimated date.

At this stage, suppliers are saying end of July.

As soon as I hear from my suppliers, I will let everyone know!!!
