Batman: Arkham Asylum is an upcoming video game for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Microsoft Windows, and is based on DC Comics' Batman. It is being developed by Rocksteady Studios and will be published by Eidos Interactive in conjunction with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics. It is based on the long-running comic book mythos, as opposed to most other Batman games which are adaptations of the character in other media besides the source material.

Release Date: August 2009

I went to my local GAME store and the manager (also friend) gave me a copy and a discount and I was the 1st to get it in the store

Yeh there was all that rage against the Activision guy cos he was saying games should be more expensive.
I just hate how when you convert US retail prices like $60 US, to our $100 AUS.... they dont match.
Plus if you take away the shipping overseas cost cos we have our own bluray factory here in australia which does PS3 games, we shouldn't be paying nearly this much.

Got it today from GAME. Spend AGES playing this game, just past the part where I defeated Bane. Loving the game so far, but I noticed you spend most of the time in detective vision when walking around. And some of the riddles are just damn weird and confusing.

The game is incredible guys, I HIGHLY recommend it... been playing for about 7 hrs, had to literally pull myself away from it lol So far: 10/10... MASSIVE replay value, theres just SOOOOO much to do... There are like 250 Riddler's clues and trophies scattered throughout the game.

Oh and Hard isnt really that hard... I've died a few times now, but they were mostly with boss battles... but once you get the hang of the combat then the "counter signal" really isnt necessary.

Man, I was having trouble passing the Round 2 where there were more guys to takedown. I didn't know how to seperate the guys in order to take them down ><

So I started playing Normal, and the game's still fun

I saw it in KMart and BigW yesterday.... I suspect my missz got it for my birthday next week but I won't know till Tuesday...

Is the challenge map going to be released on PSN?
I picked up the standard copy yesterday cause the EB i pre ordered the CE from aren't selling til today and i had the day off.

Happy enough with the standard if i can get the cahllenge map some other time...

Hopefully it doesn't end up like the Wolverine Weapon X Arena and the U.S get it and we don't.

Really? Ah okay, nah I'm right into it now lol Theres one area where you got to take on like 15 guys at once lol Kicked ****! haha Got my x20 combo trophy on that one... but you really do get the hang of it after a while, its just a matter of persevering.
