I wish more Support class people do more suppression cover/fire to help, cover and support team mates (hence their name support). As you know suppressive fire is a weapon fire that degrades the performance of a target below the level needed to fulfill its mission in noob terms it distracts the enemy, scares them and makes their vision blurry to shoot back so to make it easy for the advancing team mates to assault or flank the enemy/objective/position.

Just a little battlefield tip ;)

Also don't forget to spot targets 'SELECT' they really help both u and team mates. [MOG]

I'm currently reading Battlefield 3 the book by Andy McNab and I have to say. If they put this story in the game (Dima) I swear you guys would think this would be game of the century. It's action packed and emotional and has twists like you wouldn't believe!

BF3 handles old PCs quite well. Check 'Can You Run It' to see if your PC can support the game.

Someone tell me how high powered aplications/games can destroy your PC. I'd like to know so my laptop doesn't assplode.

The only thing in my PC that's letting my PC down in reaching recommended requirements is..
- The OS
and..
- The graphics card.

I need a new graphics card so bleh.

Seemed to have a few issues with finding servers on the PS3 over the weekend so had to go with matchmaking , then had issues with lag meh.........just ordered a new PC so hopefully will be able to get a PC copy & give that a go , my budget was a bit limited but have got a GTX570 hopefully BF3 will run ok on that?

I agree, when I just want to quickly get a game in or two I'll just join random games, but no one talks, not sure if some of these guys even have a mic at all which sucks because you cant really play tactics or anything like that

I have a mic, but sometimes I can't be bothered. I mainly play conquest as in Rush I find the maps to big :S

I just use mics just to inform my team/squad mates for example just telling them where the enemies r, calling for medic/ammo, suppression fire support and etc.
My theory is that people think it's going to be like CoD with kids on the mic, people swearing or say racial comments n etc. I remember back in the early days around 2005 nearly everyone has a mic playin but due to trolling I see it declining.

Also can more people please spot targets and NO! it's not hard the SELECT button is next to the left stick so help the team ;)

anyone played the single player yet? went through a few stages in the weekend. does the interrogation of blackburn remind you of Black ops? from what i have played so far it feels similar.

Well I'm glad to help not many people know how. One time some guy ask me 'how u put those orange dots on the enemy?' lol.
They should reward 50 for spotting.

When i play conquest, i get near a flag , say within 20m the flag indicator with m sign get stuck in the middle of my screen, doesn't matter where i look, its always in the middle
i have to run away and when i get about 40m away it snaps back to the flag, then i get back close and ,bang, it snaps back to the middle again..... i can't see enemies approaching because everywhere i look the bloody flay indicator is right in the middle of the screen
I haven't heard of anyone else complaining about it, arggghhhh, so annoying
