I'm hoping it will be better than the original I loved that game and if it's as good as it's GOTY prequel it will be fantastic, great graphics (especially water), super smart AI and awesome weapons and plasmids. On kotaku there is an article bout the new teaser site, the site is somethinginthesea.com check it out (can someone hyperlink it please?) read the three bits of info it's pretty sweet.

Just finished my first playthrough of it right now, man it was awesome

dam i was soo close to getting all the trophies on my first playthrough
only missed out on:
All weapon upgrades
Research master
and Master Protector

Was quite the struggle doing it on hard with no vita chambers

yeah theres no way i could have done it on hard with no vita chambers.. I did that on easy then spammed the vita chambers when i played it on hard..

for me it would be a frustrating one.. I tried to do that on the first bioshock but sadly couldn't even get past the first big daddy..

Yeah i agree, that was insane

Also in regards to the story i think this one had a far better emotional response. The first Bioshock had a really great twist no doubt about it, but I thought this title was done really well. Especially around the end, thats when the game just went up a whole notch.

Finally finished this today here are my thoughts:

the gameplay is so much better than the first but falls a fair bit short of the story of the first in most parts, how ever I found BioShock 2 a lot more emotional over the first one which is a good thing

Overall - 9.3/10

Might pick this up in a month or so again and try and platinum it. It looks easier than the first one, you just gotta play a **** load of online games. Rank 40 is kinda a pain in the **** I reckon, i wish there was a XP glitch or something (like AvP lol)

I've played it and I recommend you turn all the lights off and close the door because it's a SCARY GAME.
I almost shat my pants when a Splicer came up from behind and hit me in the head........

Nah man, scary? C'mon... Dead Space, Fatal Frame - those are freaky games. BioShock has its moments but nah its pretty tame. Or maybe its just me... I kinda get lost in the atmosphere; soak it up ya know.. love that 50s/60s vibe.

lol I thought they were quite easy, was kinda hoping BioShock 2 would have thrown in more mutated splicers - after all its been 10 years since the first game, but I think they stuck with the sure thing. Half of the characters in the art book (concept art) didnt appear in the game.

This game is no where near a scary game go play Dead Space if you think this is scary

*just finished it today yay me, i didnt like the story to begin with but by the end i would have to say i liked it more than the first.
*game play was an improvment the enemies and bosses werent.

Yeah very true, the story started out a bit "WTF? Meehhh..." but it does grow on ya, and yeah gameplay was improved; bosses were less memorable for sure.
