[GD] Burnout Paradise

So, I got Burnout Paradise when I got GTA 4 and played it once, found it awkward and hadnt picked it up since I've been playing GTA 4 too much.

I tried to play Burnout Paradise today. I found it far too difficult. I loved all the previous Burnouts, but now I crash if I hit a car? It's always been a fun game.

Additionally, now with the fad of "open worlds" for everything, I am completely lost. The complete lack of structure means that from the get go I am meant to keep a track of all the jumps etc? It's just too much for me.

Anyone else found it difficult to play?

Oh, and camera angle, I can't see where I'm going, it feels like the car is just going too fast.

Maybe it's just me. Sigh.

yeah, the carbon x12 is great, ive been playing the game about 8hrs now, and ive got around 3/4 of the trophies, its a bit easier than the warhawk ones, ive only go 14%(for warhawk) and ive clocked up about 15 hours, my point is, burnouts trophies are too easy. but, at least burnout has them

how do you do flatspins? and is there some full-proof way of doing barrel rolls or just lots of practice?
This game is heaps of fun but it will take me forever to get all 120 billboards, 50super jumps, 400smashes and clear all events...but still I'm loving it.
I love the sound of the motorbikes, it makes them so much more enjoyable, just wish you could pull off tricks with them when you're in the air and race vs cars.

Racing vs Cars would be awesome. I plan on emailing them with some minor suggestions that I hope they will consider adding with the next patch/island.
Yeah practice mate.

Also, if you just smash the stuff and do the jumps while you play you will be fine. I'm 50 hours in with 130+ online challenges done, 100 races left until my elite license, only 4 smashes left and %50 on the bikes.

It's so good on stunt jumps! JUST when I got the carbon car I was able to shutdown the standard one haha

Oh I know!! I spent a night at my girlfriend's house last night...I missed Burnout!

I did 3 all nighters thanks to this game since I got it Friday. 2 of them were in a row.

I'm going to make up a Stunt Guide with some stunts I made up and some tips on doing stunts soon...Just gotta' make up some more then get myself away from it long enough to type it! Wont be out soon though, plenty of homework to do...

The stunt guide will be more the stunts than the stunt jumps...Though I will use that somewhere as I'm going to say where the best jumps for what stunts are...

Here is a tip dont use the Janson Carbon X12 for stunt Runs. Very fast car but not very stable it slides alot especially after landing a jump and will cause you to crash.

A good all round car for stunt Runs is the P12... well thats my car of choice anyway.
