[GD] Burnout Paradise

So, I got Burnout Paradise when I got GTA 4 and played it once, found it awkward and hadnt picked it up since I've been playing GTA 4 too much.

I tried to play Burnout Paradise today. I found it far too difficult. I loved all the previous Burnouts, but now I crash if I hit a car? It's always been a fun game.

Additionally, now with the fad of "open worlds" for everything, I am completely lost. The complete lack of structure means that from the get go I am meant to keep a track of all the jumps etc? It's just too much for me.

Anyone else found it difficult to play?

Oh, and camera angle, I can't see where I'm going, it feels like the car is just going too fast.

Maybe it's just me. Sigh.

Here is a tip dont use the Janson Carbon X12 for stunt Runs. Very fast car but not very stable it slides alot especially after landing a jump and will cause you to crash.
A good all round car for stunt Runs is the P12... well thats my car of choice anyway.

Just race good and work out the quickest way to the finish before starting.

For Marked Man and Road Rage, use a strong car. I like the Inferno Van.

The only advice I can think of ... is to only do Races, Burning Routes and Marked Man.

The minimum requirement for Road Rage increases, the more you play that event.

On my way to the Burnout Licence, I tried doing every Burning Route I could possibly do (as you shut down those cars).

Then as many Marked Man events. Then as many Races. Then Road Rages.

You know, the new game save I had to create to earn trophies ... I've accomplished much much more compared to my old game save.

I'm deleting my old game save now. No point in keeping it

I find it pretty easy to win all events with my arachna car or w/e it is (one with the spider on the bonnet, and a web on the roof). It's easy doing marked man/road rage/races with it. Stunts are o.k. but you need to know where all the jumps are nearby so that can take longer. I have just as much fun, prob more by just driving around paradise city and looking for shortcuts and jumps that way when i do reaces i already have a fairly good idea of which route to take (even if it's not the shortest the multiple boosts with speed cars makes up for it).
I'd like to play online sometime also, I'll be on friday arvo and maybe some of the weekend.
edit: even tho i havent played much online i reckon team road rage or w/e it's call would be lots of fun.

great news guys!! even though my internets capped i can still play burnout online.. only with a tiny bit of lag.. on the 11th my month starts again... anyways im not very good but i did come 4th out of 7 in an online race.. not too bad for a girl that has only been playing for a couple of days..

yeah im getting a bit confused with the events i wanna play that dj atomica tells me that i have done that race already how do you exit from it without from doing that event again??? also is there a way knowing that you have done that event with selecting it again.....

if your mid-event and want to stop, just stop your car. adn if u have done an event there will be a tick in the box where its shows you what type of event it is
