[GD] Burnout Paradise

So, I got Burnout Paradise when I got GTA 4 and played it once, found it awkward and hadnt picked it up since I've been playing GTA 4 too much.

I tried to play Burnout Paradise today. I found it far too difficult. I loved all the previous Burnouts, but now I crash if I hit a car? It's always been a fun game.

Additionally, now with the fad of "open worlds" for everything, I am completely lost. The complete lack of structure means that from the get go I am meant to keep a track of all the jumps etc? It's just too much for me.

Anyone else found it difficult to play?

Oh, and camera angle, I can't see where I'm going, it feels like the car is just going too fast.

Maybe it's just me. Sigh.

Hey MMaC, just wondering. How long did it take you to finish the game 100%?

Because I get the feeling it's going to take me forever to finish Warhawk and Burnout Paradise 100%.

Well i finished it over a long time without knowing it just cause i was enjoying online soo much and when i say finish i mean all 420 online challenges too.

But yes it will take you a far bit of time to finish it... its not like uncharted were it takes 6-7 hours to play through the game.

im not sure id say to get to 100% 20 hour mark

Anyone played with the bikes / new vehicles that came with the update?

I've downloaded the update, but havn't got around to playing it. I still have a ton of games to finish

I think he downloaded the patch from last month, there is nothing on www.criteriongames.com thats says the patch has been released, they only mention that it is coming.

the bikes patch isnt out. he was just talking about the last patch that came out.

and the bikes patch wont contain trophies either, the trophy patch will come a few weeks after the bike update hits.

Get home from Uni at 2pm Play Star Wars the Force unleashed and then at roughly 6-7 when davis update should be online and then some bike action in paradise for the rest of the night.

Is there any other way to download updates for games, i'm sick of waiting around while a game is updated coz i can't play any games while this is happening & on top of that sometimes i get disconnected (thanks Bigpond) then i have to start the dowmload again
