[GD] Burnout Paradise

So, I got Burnout Paradise when I got GTA 4 and played it once, found it awkward and hadnt picked it up since I've been playing GTA 4 too much.

I tried to play Burnout Paradise today. I found it far too difficult. I loved all the previous Burnouts, but now I crash if I hit a car? It's always been a fun game.

Additionally, now with the fad of "open worlds" for everything, I am completely lost. The complete lack of structure means that from the get go I am meant to keep a track of all the jumps etc? It's just too much for me.

Anyone else found it difficult to play?

Oh, and camera angle, I can't see where I'm going, it feels like the car is just going too fast.

Maybe it's just me. Sigh.

dick smith is out of stock and other places wont price match coz they dont believe it could be so cheap

but i only need the elite licence if i go for 101% right? im thinking of getting all jumps all smashes then starting up on fallout 3

i still cant believe that around 9 months after buying it, im still playing this game and still genuinely enjoying it. pretty big achievement in my mind, usually the only games ill play for so long are fifa

(and gran turismo, to try and get the white formula one car i had to do the nurb 24 hour about 6 times

)

after getting your elite licence Ruling all roads in time and showtime and having all awards will get you 100% and then doing all the 350 freeburn challenges will get you 101% and then doing the extra 70 timed challenges will give you 102% from memory.

ouch. not much chance of getting 101 or 102% then haha. but i did just see the WTR from Krieger and now i want to get my elite licence

but i think ill go for it slowly, i reckon it will take me a fair while since i want to get a lot of fallout 3 done after exams

The WTR isn't as good as the PCPD Special and trust me it is worth the wait

Funny think was i had done all 350 online challenges before i had my elite license. which made getting 101% easy and then 102% easy too.
