[GD] Burnout Paradise

So, I got Burnout Paradise when I got GTA 4 and played it once, found it awkward and hadnt picked it up since I've been playing GTA 4 too much.

I tried to play Burnout Paradise today. I found it far too difficult. I loved all the previous Burnouts, but now I crash if I hit a car? It's always been a fun game.

Additionally, now with the fad of "open worlds" for everything, I am completely lost. The complete lack of structure means that from the get go I am meant to keep a track of all the jumps etc? It's just too much for me.

Anyone else found it difficult to play?

Oh, and camera angle, I can't see where I'm going, it feels like the car is just going too fast.

Maybe it's just me. Sigh.

Ok, I decided I'll start working on the trophies tomorrow ... after purchasing Burnout Paradise off the US PS Store. USD30 I think they said.

Then I can leave my two game saves on my PS3, because my disc copy is Asian and my Playstation Network copy will be American

just make a copy of your current save on a flash drive. Then delete and start again. Then when you have all the trophies just copy your old save back. Saves you from buy it again

I loved the burnout demo so i really want the full game!

Are there alot of levels/cars/bikes?

I really like the sound of all the trophies and going by the demo, the online is no lag and is great!

Wheres the cheapest place to buy burnout?

The PSN Version just came out few hours ago on HK store, give it some time

You have to understand, I have been waiting a month to get this game and when I get it, I am able to play it for a few hours before the patch is "released" to find out, they're not retroactive. So rather than playing it and then having to start again I just have to wait...More waiting after a month...

well me and wutang just teamed up and unlocked almost 1/3 of burnout's trophies in just a few hours. So, them not being retroactive isn’t such a big deal as long as you have some one to help with the online challenges.
