[GD] Burnout Paradise

So, I got Burnout Paradise when I got GTA 4 and played it once, found it awkward and hadnt picked it up since I've been playing GTA 4 too much.

I tried to play Burnout Paradise today. I found it far too difficult. I loved all the previous Burnouts, but now I crash if I hit a car? It's always been a fun game.

Additionally, now with the fad of "open worlds" for everything, I am completely lost. The complete lack of structure means that from the get go I am meant to keep a track of all the jumps etc? It's just too much for me.

Anyone else found it difficult to play?

Oh, and camera angle, I can't see where I'm going, it feels like the car is just going too fast.

Maybe it's just me. Sigh.

Turns out I was wrong? I thought I might get Burnout Paradise for my friend for $40 or so. Turns out JB was selling them at about $98, and preowned wasn't that much cheaper either!

Decided to get my mate Quest for Booty instead xD

hmm, i got my Burnout at JB, brand new about 2 months ago. for me it only cost $45 :S

LoL guys i did my first stunt run on the new save game this morning with a coffee in hand sobering up. Now i still havent unlocked any cars so im using the hunter calvery, anyway on my first run i got a x93 multiplier before i stuffed it up on the barrel roll through the hoop jump at the airfield. Resulted in over 23 Million. Not bad for the first stunt run of the game where the target was 10,000.

Btw if anyone wants me to show them some tips with stunts runs just ask, usually alot of people have trouble with stunt runs.

Longarms showed me where the quarry was .. but I forgot again ><

The trophy patch was 35MB. I upgraded from 1.40 to 1.50 though ...

Sorry, I'm slightly lost. As in the boost the car has, save up until it's 2x and 4x?

Damn, my current car (Ikusa I think) can't get to x2 ...

Edit: Man, massive Burnout session today. Started at 9am ... still going. I believe I'm 11 trophies away from the plat now

Yeah thats right. Try doing it in a car that's in the "Speed Class".

Hmm, I drove a "Speed" car (not Stunt or Aggressive) and went through the "Boost Refill" drive thru ... got 3x, but no trophy.
I'm definitely doing something wrong aren't I?

Burnout Paradise? They're really easy. They don't require you to finish the game 100%. Think someone said playing it about 60 or 70% will get you the platinum.
