THis is why IW failed in matchmaking. They can patch what they want but if they can't bring in regional matchmaking search options like in Black Ops, good connections are always at risk.

Did the mini update just before and it seems to have nerfed me online regarding lag. Hadn't had any previously and then every lobby I joined earlier I was lagging. So annoying.

It has no servers, its p2p so the 'server' or host is just someone in the lobby, you've just got to hope you arent stuck in a lobby full of people with dodo internet.

Most of the time it works out ok though, still no comparison to dedicated servers, but it does the job.

All of that hate comes from people that wouldn't play COD. This game will be at the top of XBL/PSN charts for a long time my friend.

If you played MW2, this was a massive problem. Even within months after the game launched, you would still get Japanese games.

If the game is popular, there will be less rooms to head into and the search will continue to expand wider and wider. No doubt you've experienced searches that have ping >100-150-200+. it's only a matter of time until you encounter a foreign game. (Although not at this moment in time)

When the game declines, there will be hardly any australian-only lobbies, especially when the search party expands wider and wider to japan/America. If there is a japanese in the game who has incredible internet compared to crappy Aussie ones, expect everyone to lag.

Don't forget, japan is 2-3 hours behind us. Their peak times of playing will extend longer into our night and beyond midnight. Even though they should all be studying or playing street fighter ;)

In another words, the fact that searches aren't enclosed to our region only, there is always risk of getting foreign games. The risk gets larger every month passes but for now, there's no need to worry....despite getting into japanese games 5 times yesterday.... -___________-

Its completely different, you will get used to it though. Just keep your eye out for campers and take it slow first before rushing.

You're not playing it right.

COD is all about quickness, pace. You need to be quick with the trigger, you need to move around corners with caution, and don't rely on sprint too much.

Capture the Flag probably isn't the best mode.

Domination is probably better for that sort of gaming, because it's more a matter of capturing the flag, and then protecting its location, with three locations all up for grabs.

HC Domination is where it's at.
