Wasnt interested in this initially but my interest is slowly peaking, especially in regards to the online co-op.
Not a huge fan of zombie games, but the open-world and RPG elements are appealing to me.
Might pick it up this week. :P

I actually like this developer...the Call of Juarez games were awesome except for The Cartel.

Yeah it's pretty extreme mate, it's basically the mission structure of Fallout 3 with the weapons and customisation of Dead Rising 2.

Too many freaking games coming out or are already out to play......when the hell am i going to get time to get serious game time out of Madden 12 and Driver when not long after their release is THIS and FIFA 12.

Not to mention BF3.

well we have a good 7 almost 8 weeks before BF3 comes out so this takes the priority.

Nail'd, Call of Juarez The Cartel, Chrome. The earlier Juarez games were pretty average. Not a very good developer with a poor engine and low production values.

Gotta start somewhere. Dead Island is the first game from Techland that I've liked, and it's rather deep. It's going to be so much fun in co-op mode too.

I think it will be a success and if it gets solid reviews across the board it means they could bring in some better talent and gain further funding to develop better games. This could be the title that flicks them from "meh" into the same field as the big boys.

lets hope this kickstarts them... more big boys with big budget equals bigger fun for us consumers!! :D :D
