Hi guys, i dont know about you guys but i personally reckon this title looks very very promising, a very ambitious title and the trailer looks excellent, this could be one of the best mafia type games ever made, something the gaming industry needs more of in my opinion,

We all know what Rockstar Games are capable of, this has HUGE potential. I say whack it in the games list asap.

Actually no they didn't. Team Bondi from Sydney made the game and Rockstar stepped in to help with the finishing touches and published it.

"L.A. Noire is a video game developed by Team Bondi in conjunction with Rockstar Games".

It was originally a Sony Exclusive. Team Bondi have been working on it since 2004. They wrote the story, developed the technology and the game mechanics. To my knowledge it would have to be the biggest Aussie contribution to the world of gaming when it comes to AAA titles.

I believe Rockstar funded the development of the engine.

Well, sorry to say it, but they did. Maybe they used a rockstar engine, but they did. Which other Aussie games graphics are you using for reference of how bad they can be?

Yeah Bioshock was made by 2k AUS, 2k Marin, 2k about 3 other places. Was not fully Australian like LA Noire.

One thng I really love, and it is such a minor thing, is when you get to a location your car is parked nicely out the front in perfect position.
In GTA I always used to try park perfectly, I don't know why, just compulsive, I would park, reverse, straighten up then re park to ensure my car was positioned near perfect.
But with la noire you just drive up and bam cutscene and your car is parked beautifully.
Now come one someone else has to think the same.
I love little details like that.

Unfortunately, the game is plastered with R*. Front cover, Bluray disc, first logo you see when start-up; and also Rockstar website on back cover :(
