New Medal Of Honor Revealed As "The Most Authentic Modern War Experience"

Electronic Arts has officially announced the reinvention of its first-person shooter war game Medal of Honor, bringing the franchise into the modern age and deploying it to Afghanistan, promising "the most authentic modern war experience" for fall 2010.

The all-new Medal Of Honor is currently in development at EA and DICE, responsible for the game's single-player and multiplayer components, respectively.

Medal Of Honor will make its video debut at the Spike TV VGAs on December 12 and hit the PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, PC, and Nintendo DSi next year.

That amply bearded, box-art starring soldier is a Tier 1 Operator, "a relatively unknown entity directly under the National Command Authority who takes on missions no one else can handle," according to EA's announcement. The new Medal of Honor—known simply as Medal of Honor—will give gamers a chance to "step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile battlefield conditions of present day Afghanistan."

I might do it just to get the Tier 1 thing, I asked EB if i can get le for 89 can i buy the Tier 1 for that, ummm No he says. Might cancel my JB get EB tier 1, load it and return it the next day got back to JB and get it for $89.

Anyway back to the topic, I just spoke to JB Re: Kmart price, Told the guy i could get it from Kmart STD ed. $79, told him Game will sell me LE for same as STD as there STD is LE, asked if JB will do this, Guy said yes :-) so im getting my LE for $79 Yippy pays to shop around.

I give multiplayer a 7.5/10

Pros :
Knifing is instant no fake kills like BFBC2
Weapons sounds are awesome
Good variety of modes to play
Instant Spawn almost 5 seconds at longest
Chain system of scoring points, 5 kills gets u mortar strike , 10 a rocket strike etc etc (also a con though spamming)
No ammo or health packs given out by soldiers, big crates for everyone to get it from (hate waiting for peeps in BFBC2 give it to me)
Heaps faster after all then BFBC2, run and gun reminds a little of COD speed i reckon.
Choose different skins for your player.
No lag online or graphically glitches/slowdown

Cons :
Maps are alot smaller then BFBC2
Invisible Walls on maps, pissed me off looks like u can run up a hill then wall :(
Vehicles : Only 1 tank on some maps for 1 of the sides
Spawn Killing, u can get behind there base and spawn kill easy as
Assault class (riflemen) has only smoke grenade no frag.
Weapons kill way to easy, even lvl 1 shit weapons u can shoot ppl easy.
Only 3 classes to choose from.
Not as much destructible environment as BFBC2, building cant be bought down or blown to shit :(

No Dog tags for knifing :(

Played a good 6 hours last night lvled my spec ops guy to lv 6.
Got red dot sights and extra ammo clip.

Get ready to die heaps at first in hour or so to begin with.
After that i started owning people once i got hang off buttons etc and gameplay.

All in all... im not sure..... BFBC2 so far still better for me.

One thing is ****ing sweet though is the offensive and def scoring chain, i just got 200/200 built up and got a missile strike which u launch and control where it drops on ppl ****ing sweeet as !!!

U press dpad left to do offensive and dpar right for defensive strikes.

so 50/50pts gives u mortar strike or drone to spot ppl on map, 100/100 gives u rocket strike or ammo to ya team, 200/200 gives u missile strike or upgrade flak jackets for ya team etc

See small maps and only 1 tank on maps is a big positive for me:P
