i think that big w price may be wrong... on release day big w always has it cheaper then anywhere else... this usually happens with other games...

thats what im gonna hope for anyway... if not ill wait for it to be cheaper...

i just went into eb and they have the dummy cases with the info on it. its like 16 player online from what i can remember

Thats the risk importing you don't know if online play will be region locked.

I can only cross my fingers and hope.

I'm pre-ordering from eStarland because I had about USD325 in-store credit there (back when I cancelled an order when the exchange rate was 0.85).

anyway I doubt it will be region locked cause its a rockstar title would be a first if it did happen to be just saying in general of ps3 games

Ahh, yea. It kinda influenced my decision e.g. I pre-ordered Call of Duty: World at War at EB instead, because I had the feeling it might be region-locked online. Thanks for the concern stonecold

Exactly!
But I pre-ordered Bioshock from the US instead ... because there's no online component

Other games I pre-ordered from eStarland were:
SOCOM Confrontation (Options menu, you can change the region I think), Rock Band 2 (unavailable in Australia

) and Motorstorm Pacific Rift.

Oopsy. I pre-ordered that game from GameStop, so I didn't have to "worry about it" lol xD

I only have the games I've pre-ordered at EB/JB listed at the bottom of my desktop xD
Simply because I have to actually go to the store and pick it up.

its more an arcade racing game than a simulation

Its more inline with NFS then other racers out there. Same sorta thing but faster! and has jumps like in a GTA game.
