you can play custom songs in Midnight Club 4

Hey guys, man this game is looking better and better but I only have about $100. I might be getting another $60 soon from work (if they ever decide to pay me for my 1 off shift) and then I get $20 a week. So possible 2 games, if I'm lucky.

Anyway, I'm really not sure what to get, we have Motor Storm 2, Midnight Club LA, Pure, NFS Undercover and of course Little Big Planet. After playing the Little Big Planet Beta I already have my satisfaction so I'm not SUPER keen on getting it straight away on launch.

What are your thoughts on which games to get?

well i think personally, need for speed undercover looks like a need for speed most wanted all over again, but with new cars. yet again this one is based on cops again....

id pick Midnight Club LA over NFS undercover, they ruined it after NFS underground 2.

What is all these power stuff I hear about. I really love street racers, but I hate it when they ruin it with unrealistic things...

This video (especially the first power) just ruins the game for me. I don't mind stuff like slowing down time but when you can send an 'electric current' to 'disable the opposition' that's what really turns me off

i hate them too, it takes away the realism sort of in the game. if you have played midnight club 3, they are basically ways of getting passed your opponents, im not going to use these things though.

But say you are playing online, you would have no choice but to use them...

no, you dont have to use them at all. even online, its like NOS , you can use it , or you dont use it

I like NOS

But anyway, if you are online and everyone else is using them, you will have a major disadvantage if you don't use them. That's a real turn off for this game. I think I might wait for NFS Undercover before I decide which of these two games to get.

I've just been watching the NFS Undercover vids. Sorry guys, but I'm sold. It reminds me of the best times I had playing NFS Underground 2 with my cousins

That video is pretty good. But I still can't compare it to NFS Undercover. Its just got me. I think I'll wait and see the reviews first before I buy any game tho

i reckon this game will probably make me stop playing Burnout Paradise

its probably the only racing game since Gran Turismo 3/4 and NFS underground that i have anticipated for a long time...finally a descent driving game

IMO....i know Grid is also good but i wasnt anticipating for that....

I'll just have to wait and see. Its either Undercover or MC4. I'll just check out the reviews but boy have i been waiting for a free roam racing game. They are my favorite type of game.

i have not pre ordered or anythin im just hopin bigW releases at a cheaper price which is the usual for them... they were the cheapest that had saints row 2 so why not this as well...

i cant wait... bring on customizing....
