News is starting to roll out for 2K's next installation in their NBA 2K series, so let's start up a discussion.

Who will be getting this and what cover do you want?

I'll be trading my 2K11 for this. Not sure which cover to get yet, maybe the Magic one. :D

Sounds nice! The live ball physics sounds good, can't run into teammates and the opposition carelessly now it seems.

eh im pretty sure that it wont really affect the game that much. Its a cosmetic change thats easily fixed with an update.

If theres no season due to lockout then there will be no roster changes, no games etc, so you might as well have kept with 2k11 apart from the legend modes.

I doubt the lockout will go for the whole season, a 10 month lockout would be outrageous.

I think there will be a shortened season for 2011-12.

The league and players are both confident the league won't happen.

Whether this is a tactic being used by both to push a negotiation and compromise through, I don't know.

Nope, I think next year is when they will be releasing their next Simulation basketball game.

They are releasing NBA Jam On Fire Edition this year though.

All 15 legends have been announced for NBA's Greatest mode.

Looking at the images you can see the presentation will be dependant on the era you will be playing in. Vey Exciting.

The goals are much more simple in this, you don't have to achieve a certain stat line, instead you only have to win to unlock these teams in Quick Play mode.

Also they tried to fill the bench with as many real players from that time as possible and limited the amount of generic bench players as possible.

Full rosters for each team will be announced tomorrow or later today, not sure what time it is in USA so yeah.

Tried to get one going on the 360 channel for NBA 2K11, but not enough people were playing it.

We had one for NBA Live in 2009. Was pretty awesome. Can we set it up?

NBA 2K12 Achievements have been released and has revealed some great news about 2K12.

My Player mode will have contracts, and Online Association. Imagine an MMGN Online Assoc.

Also a new game mode, NBA: Creating a Legend (My Player with NBA Player?)

Yeah, just posted it because it hinted at some new additions to My Player mode and the Online Association & NBA:Creating A Legend modes which weren't in last years game.

Looks like we're really going to have to play My Player to get these achievements/trophies.
It might be hard or take long to land a $10 million contract & get into the HoF.

That would be a great idea. Also to choose a shoe design for yourself rather then be given one. Like have 5 designs to choose from. And new shoes every year too, to make it more realistic haha
