Anyone know how the money system works? i was palying against 2 mates online and was winning most races and received $8000 prize money while the others were getting 20 and 40000 respectively for coming 2nd and 3rd

for those who think the g25 and g27 ARE just a steering wheel. Try using one! your opinion will change. RRP of G27 is $599.

it says to access the account manager in the pause menu, but ****ed if I can find out how to do it.

and needforspeed.com just keeps telling me I haven't synced the game yet

once you progress you'll notice the difference with the NOS but heres how the medal system work
4 catagories

-Online

-driver

-races

-tracks
(at least i think those are the catagories)

alright so say you go to the driver medals open it
then there are sub catgories for example

-trade paint

-perfect launch

-clean overtake
etc

say you open trade paint it'll show traded paint with 5 opponents tradeded paint with 10 opponents and it just goes up by 25
and you go up but the rows they are in like 25-100 trade paints= bronze medal 125-175=silver 200-250=gold and then thats it
do you get it??

Im loving this game, im only up to lvl 18 but i have only played it for 2 days and only a few hrs both times really. Borrowing off my mate but im going to go buy this game, give me something to play till gt5 comes out.

Whats cars are people using.

Ive got a fully done up S14 for drifting (might buy a rx7 they seem to be good from what i can tell in that race you get to use one)
also got a fully done up sti (got a soft spot for them since i had a wrx)

There more then fast enough to win everything ive raced so far in tier 1-3 ive unlocked 4 but havent played it really yet.

Going to buy some more cars soon, money seems pretty easy to build up though especually all the sponsers money i keep getting.

I cant get the hang of the Drifitng....
Im only level 10 so far and just bought the murichealago...
I tried the SS Camaro fully upgraded but it was completely uncontrolable???
Havent really decided on the game yet... got another week to take it back for full refund yet...
Whats the online like? havent tried it yet?

I was skimming through the One HD T.V guide and noticed that at 8.30pm Tuesday 'Need For Speed - Shift' is showing. It's a 30 minute show but has no synopsis. Anyone know what this is all about??

Drifting is all about accelerator control mate i have found. Although i havent used a v8 to drift but with the S14 i can now do it fairly easy. I was also **** to begin with just takes some practise mate, you will get the hang of it, buy a silvia is my tip would be alot easier i would imagine.

Just try using the accelerator through the corner not just holding it down weather you tap it and then hold it as your coming out to keep it goin, sometimes u might have to use the handbrake through the corner if you get to much speed then accelerate again.. Just takes practise mate you will get there.

I can normally doulbe or almost double what you have to get on each track now and really try and hit those points there were the big scores are.

AE86 is good for drift beginners u can do 8 second drifts and chained drifts.
