I've been doing a bit of research and this statement really catches me;
"Game is styled to a more mature, war informed audience."

We're looking at 70+ weapons all customizable and detailed to every bolt etc..., destructible environments, 220 square km's of terrain (takes 4 and a half hours to cross from one end to another by foot) Hello, my next buy!

ok i'm sure we can get some better info than that.....how does it handle online? are there specfic rooms/servers we can choose to play in, whats the ai online like?

excellent for example if u get to many enemy gunfire or u made bad decisions ur team changes behaviour and their morale goes low and ur AI team will not trust ur orders with full respect but if u win battles, no casualties, get the upper hand in battle u see ur AI team m8s get all pumped up, very confidant of orders they receive and teams morale goes up. This goes for enemy if u want to reduce enemie's morale use 'shock and awe' u can see enemies fleeing because they can't handle the heat of battle. I hope this answers ur question

I have already heard some bad things about this game, it seems that when you want to heal 1 of fellow Marines they try to run away from you, but I guess the Marine has low morale or something like that.

not really i got a copy and ppl complain about game because its not ur average FPS and sometimes they forget its a FPS military simulator.

im all for realism, i still play the original ofp from time to time, tried arma ii as well its an awesome game but the glitches/bugs just kill it.
ofp2 seems like it might be somewhat easier than what i would of liked it to be.

u tried Hardcore mode? that mite solve ur easy problem? But PC version has more features like mission creator.

man playing this game for 5 hrs nonstop last night i manage to finish mission 2 only so ****ing!!!!! HARDcore(like it)
and the annihilation 8players TDM is so awesome pure tactical no run and gun ****

Factor

this game is golden.... played 4 player coop online last night!

Got one big issue though.
We got to the end of this mission passing heaps of checkpoints along the way. Difficulty was on normal in the campaign. Near the end we both got killed and it came up with a screen showing us the stats for the mission with a countdown in the top section. but there was no option to go from last checkpoint? Only said restart. If we let the timer run out it took us all the way back to the main online screen. and if we pressed restart mission it.... restarted it.... right back at the beginning. can anyone help???

ebgames start selling it on ps3 yesterday for some reason some eb said not till thursday im confused.
@ factor really annoying on that problem hope they fix it soon its like starting from the start well it does start from the start of a longgggg last checkpoint.

seriously guys, if you dont like realism in games then dont even bother getting this game. This game is as real as they get..... half of the time I dont even see where the enemies are even when ur team points out which direction they're coming from....
This game really needs to be played in a good team of 4 players, cos sometimes your AI gets stuck in places which aren't good lol. Multiplayer lags a little but not much

hijakk, its pretty bad how far it puts you back. I passed about 5 different checkpoints and it actually said "checkpoint" on the screen. We completed about 4 objectives and then we both died. so we had to go right back to the start, like the very beginning of the level. Whats the point of a checkpoint if it doesn't check your point?
