'It looks like Silent Hill 8 has officially become Silent Hill: Downpour. Forum member Lautaro has provided scans of the GameInformer issue. The text for the spread isn’t too easy to read, but we’re sure that won’t stop you from trying. The magazine must be hitting shelves and homes very soon.

Silent Hill: Downpour is official ladies and gentlemen. The GameInformer article also share many new screens and gameplay details about this water filled sequel. Character models and textures still seem a bit early in development, but environments look great. This fog filled incarnation of Silent Hill harbors different tones of fog, and a fancy bloom effect. Look for more details when the issue hits everywhere.'

Mate, you ought to see what they have done to it on that PS Vita release. I nearly cried. It is so horrific, but not in a good way...

Top down isometric multiplayer. I saw an announcement vid from the devs yesterday, but for the life of me, I can't find it today.

And with Silent Hill Downpour - Going from Akira Yamaoka to having a Korn credits song?... Sigh...
