This was meant to be the Halo killer for the PS3. And did it deliver? Well according to IGN it's a big FAT NO.

The demo was plain boring.

The video had great graphics but the demo didnt. I will definetley give this a miss. Not even worth a $1.00 hire.

To me, I never thought the story line sounded 'great'. The demo was very mediocre, though graphically it's better than most of the recent FPS released on PSN!

Seems like maybe, only maybe, the multiplayer (especially the co-op where you can use vehicles to hitch a ride) may actually be 'fun' for a while

. Am also not used to the controls either. But compared to CoD4 where the campaign and the multiplayer was done extremely well, HAZE may only be as fun as Army of Two!?!

I was expecting HAZE to add to the flimsy selection of quality Ps3 titles, not diminish it!. Oh well, at least MGS4 will definatly be good.

disappointing I have been following this since its first trailer release nearly 2 years ago. I got worried when it completely changed it's identity 6 months later and then the 6 months or so of delays.
A 10 hour playthrough might mean a rental though.

there has been a pretty big gap between the reviews though the famitsu review was possitive as were a few others.

Judging by the lame demo in its crappy 576p resolution...NOT GOOD ENOUGH. This game deserves to flop as a warning to other developers; We didn't spend thousands of $ on HD TVs, PS3s etc to play ps2 games!!!.

.............................. They should not have released the demo. I was getting it untill I played the demo. Lots of people have said the same thing. Think this will fail miserably...which as I've said would send a clear warning to game developers...don't try and screw us and expect our money for crap.

Well thats just it.. total mixed reviews:

Famitsu: 34/40
Italian PSM: 9/10
The Onion: 58/100
IGN: 4.5/10

If there's any doubt GameTrailers will give it a low score, but i'm gonna go with what Australian Official PlayStation Magazine says... they're usually spot on with their reviews.
