Yes game, not console.

Managed to find someone who has a copy of NBA Elite 11 which was cancelled. It is regarded as the rarest of all PS3 games, and i am hoping it is an astute investment.

If not i just paid a shit load of money for a poor game lolz

Ok guys the game arrived today at my wife's work.

When i get home tonight i will post pics of the disc and the game on my tv.

Following this i am going to write a review of the game for MMGN - how is that for a scoop - to be the only website with a review of the game. Actually, am i breaking any laws by writing a review of a game that was never released?

If admin could advise that would be great.

Its actually not a bad price.

Well worth the investment based on a few of the past sales. The jump in value since last November has been remarkable.

@Mitchel it is called collecting. Rarity + Demand = Higher value. With over 60 million people on the planet owning a PS3 there is a HUGE market for some items of this gen of consoles to be valuable in the future.

Actually... Thr was more than just 8 made/released a whole line was made and shipped out to stores but then the company deside to cancell the game and demanded that all copies be sent make to them to be destroyed and obviously a nice handfull of people would of kept a copy for themselves :P

I sold the loose copy after purchasing a sealed copy from the US.

It is now sitting in my collectibles cabinet and soon to be sent to the VGA (Video Gaming Authority www.vggrader.com/... for grading and sealed encasement.

This purchase was never about playing the game. It was about collecting.

A sealed copy sold on ebay not long ago for over 2k. These copies are increasing in value at an amazing rate.

I did play the game when i had the loose copy but not much. It was not as bad as many people said.

But it was also nowhere near as good as 2K11.

One of the big reviewers did release a review before the cancellation and it got 3 out of 5 stars. Not a complete abortion by any means.

For selfish reasons i am praying EA never releases it years down the track. Or floods the market with copies for $10.

Its a sealed copy so no way (i sold the loose one and bought a sealed).

Also, i dont have platinum for ANY games lol....let alone this one. Definitely not a trophy hunter.
