Yeah well i sold my PS2 for $270 today on ebay

And yeah i have about 17 games, how many games would i have to trade in to get Virtua Fighter and Drakes Uncharted and Pro Street?
Or would i trade in and pay?

You should've traded them ALL into EB about a month ago, when they were offering ^50% on top of all trade in prices put towards pre-orders. If you trade those 9 games into JB, lol..... lol.

JB is not a person, its a business, if he can manage to get them to accept games from other regions for trade then I dont see the issue

BUT

I also think Micky might be exaggerating how many times he might of got away with it, he has a tendency to do that lol , I know my JB refuses to accept non-aus games as they dont register on their pc when they scan them so they wont accept them

You cant afford to & when you can you do..
From my experience JB usually has the best retail prices.

The issue is the customer that comes in wanting to buy a second hand AUS retail game, maybe for the reason of D/L content & not being able to because of region lock.

So be warned when buying second hand games always check that as it'll be a different story if it was you who brought the import under false circumstances.

I'm glad that uk versions are cheap and the dlc always works for me on them.

well i had kane and lynch dead men back in 08 and traded it in even though it was US, maybe that was luck but never knew that you couldnt trade them in back then

yeah but JB is then too dumb to realise that he is trying to sell them imported games, so why do they still except it, it is just stupid, it is more there fault not his, he can just say that he didnt even know the policy if they tell him you cant trade these in.

Exactly what happened when i tried to trade in my copy of Silent Hill, which was apparently was a US copy which I bought from gametraders those dodgy tools!!

I'm with micky, I bought import games from a jb with the intention of trading them back in. I went to another jb the next day and they said they can not accept them because they aren't from this country, even though they still had all of the jbhifi stickers all over them. I was like fine I will travel all the way to the other one and trade them in. I went to the other one and was in there for no more than 5 minutes. They didn't even think twice about it.
