MP3>PS3?

Due to GT5 having custom soundtracks i'v been slowly getting my albums ripped onto my ps3 console, I downloaded Linkin Parks new album from iTunes but I cant copy it to my ps3, I put it onto a USB stick & my ps3 wont read it..

So without the origional CD im screwed?

thats because they are on itunes a m4a format, maybe convert to mp3

instead of copying your music from itunes directly, go to the folder on you computer where itunes holds it's library which is in My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music and copy your music to the root of you USB stick. That should work, It's always worked for me.

M4A files are compatible with the ps3 but may not work in-game sometimes.

i use windows media player its about 10x better

It may be, but I think he's trying to use his purchased itunes music on his PS3.

If the above methods don't work, why not try burning the music to a disc then copy them from the disc?

Maybe try doing an MP3 CD first, but it seems people are having trouble with them trying to be read by the PS3, so you may have to go down the road of an audio CD.

ahh yes I just put a TDK CD with music into my ps3 & it plays it, I thought it would only would play origionals.

I'll have to burn it to a CD I guess as the USB stick just wont work [Rage]
