because the trade value isnt much on bf3 & dead island.. why not upgrade :D .. i can get AC:Revalations, Saints Row 3 or Halo anniversary the week after for trade

If people going in thinking it's like Black Ops then they will be absolutely demolished. Much more like MW2 than Blops, but without all the BS that was in MW2. It plays like a stopping power game without having the stopping power perk. Extremely hectic with smaller maps.

im trading in my dead island PS3 copy which only cost me 50 something bucks but it is a UK region and has UK ratings on it.

will they accept it?

PS i know everything its compatible and i couldnt find any info in the t&c page of JB

JB don't trade with imports. It has to have the Australian ratings logos on the slick. I learned this the hard way with trying to trade a couple of imported UK games I had bought from EB previously... [Rage]

If indie stores can get their own stickers to slap on, surely JB Hifi can :/
If not, copy and paste the classifcation logos onto sticky paper with laser jet printer :) (im not joking either lol)

Yeah good luck with that! The big issue is with the barcode on imported games covers. If it doesn't scan and is not on their file, they put under a open SKU and give you what they think is fair for it. They won't include it as part of a trade deal.

thats bullcrap... they will most likely be very strict aswell. i could print out a cover on good paper and see how it looks. if i can find one [Shifty]

it looks like it depends on the store whether or not they take it. some have no problem as it is pal. il try at JB parramatta tomorrow and if it doesnt work than il try castle hill

It took me about 5 seconds to find this.

What you cannot trade in:

Trades will NOT be accepted on games from the following categories:
•PC
•Gameboy Advance
•Retro (Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Playstation 1 etc)
•Gaming accessories (on any format – this includes controllers, steering wheels, light guns, memory cards etc)
•Gaming Consoles (PS2, PS3, XBOX, Wii etc)
•Burnt/Pirated Games
•Demo Games
•Sample/Promo Games
•Games that do not carry an Australian Rating/Classification
•Imported NTSC software/games purchased overseas (these will not work on the majority of Australian consoles)

Traded uk games every time I've gone in there, never had 1 issue, seen plenty of red spine greatest hit ps3 games in their pre owned too. I don't think they care.
