Hey all, i've been looking around online for an online association that i can join for this game but with no avail after previously leaving a globalised association due to the ping being horrendous. So i'm thinking of making an association with a draft if I can get enough interest from Australians. Please notify me by posting in this thread if you are interested in taking part in this league, they're great fun because you get to completely take over an nba team and play how you want to play!

I just did a few drafts to get an idea of what i can get based on the newer player ratings and also what pick i will end up with. (Taking it pretty seriously i know) :P

High 1st round pick (Pick 3):
PG: Jrue Holiday
SG: Paul George (gotta love a 6'9 SG!)
SF: DURANTULA
PF: Luis Scola
C: Mehmet Okur
6th Man: Jameer Nelson

Its overall a decent team, but very weak defensively, particularly my bigs.

Mid 1st round Pick (Pick 15):
PG: Jrue Holiday (he seems such good value for how low he goes)
SG: James Harden
SF: Chandler Parsonns
PF: Blake Griffin (i'd prolly tade him though)
C: Deandre Jordan
6th Man: Nick Young

Probably my least favourite team of the three, im not a fan of griffin at all. Its a very young team though, and would become very good if our league went a few seasons.

Late 1st Round Pick (30th):
PG: Lou Williams
SG: James Harden
SF: Derrick Wiliams
PF: JJ Hickson (the self proclaimed best PF in the league... at least he's got confidence)
C: Air Congo (Nuff Said)
6th Man: Chandler Parsons

Once again a young team (i tend to always do that) but on this one i like all of my starters, the only thing id try to change would be trying to get a slightly better PG by sacrificing bench depth. Im playing two out of position but from my experience they do well when i do play them there. My favourite team of the three.

I love James Harden, such a terrific shooter and can score with ease at the rim too. However, I cant use him efficiently on 2k12!! It infuriates me [Rage] [Rage]

Yeah harden does seem to do worse than he should. He has a really odd shooting style with a super high arc in the game, which probably affects his percentages a bit.

Yea it's so difficult to time his shot perfectly, though once he gets inside he's pretty dominant against opposing 2's. Paul George is another magnificent young 2, can dunk with power and in the dark, (for those who watched the dunk contest) and his 3 point shot is deadly.

One of my fav 2's in 2k12 has to be Ginobilli, great offensive skills and an awesome perimitter defender.

Rose goes too high in the draft to be worth picking up. For where he goes, you can always get Paul, Durant, Wade or even Kobe.
The main issue is that driving point guard do not work well at all in 2k12, they tent to get blocked, a lot.

I will not be participating in this as I don't have the game on PS3 but if someone is looking to pick up a late point guard for scoring, get Boobie Gibson. Kid can shoot the lights out.

He is actually 6'10 but 2K has him in at 6'9
