New Naruto game comes out towards the end of this year I think, i just saw the trailer and it was pretty epic :P for those who havn't seen it here its is enjoy:

yea i'm really looking forward to this there are other trailers and stuff as well.

i raelly enjoyed the first agme so def gonna pick this up, my hope is that it goes to the naruto vs sasuke battle or at least finish off at naruto vs pain.

I am a fan of Naruto, but never finished watching it. I havn't even seen shippuden. The furthest i got to watching the episodes was through Naruto's training with Jiraiya.

Does the first game of this go through the story of the show?

If i remember correctly (didn't play the story mode, just played the versus) when i was watching my brother play the story mode it went up to the episodes where Sasuke and naruto fights.

It depends which training arc you're up to. If you're talking about when he learns the rasengan and the "Find Tsunade" arc than it is much later.

The other time he goes off with Jiraiya is the actual time skip which is when Shippuden Starts.

hmmm... this game doesn't look too bad, i like naruto games cause their beat-em-up games but the '3d' style of the first game was a bit annoying cause when i played versus mode vs my bro you could usually only see one persons side which gave them a HUGE advantage but that was about all i hated from the first game.
however the story mode of these games is pretty fun to play, i like playing through the story and pretending i were a ninja owning all those noobs :D

Comes out on Thursday, grabbing the collectors edition. Can't wait, the original was brilliant, the gameplay, the music, everything. The only thing it lacked was online, but the sequel features that. I'm pumped!

The sequel looks even more amazing than the original!
