Havent really answered my question... Trailers looked like they had a decent story line but if the racing n mods are crap then I won't be getting it...

Hi everyone, hubby got the game and really enjoys it, at first it takes a little to get used to the handling after hot pursuit but it is really fun. Online though is very laggy what we have experienced.

Its not bad but tbh' i dont play it anymore, Damn game just got me to damn pissed off [Rage]

The singleplayer is good and the cars handle nicely with both Controller and Steering Wheel, Nice visuals, Very good selection of cars, They went with normal syle driving rather than the drift happy styles of NFS"HP :P
Also has its fair share of challenging races where its a race against time to reach the finish line before u get cover in an avalanh of snow [MOG]

Then you go online [Facepalm]
And this is whr the game really is let down, Not only do people think they are driving dodge'em cars and feal the need to not only bounce of every wall rather then actually tyn to turn around the corner but they think its also enjoyable to ram you of the road -_-

Then the lag, its 50/50 if when you join a room, You will get the floating cars, The traffic that like to appear right infront of you or even traffic that is invisible but still thr, Thinking your in first bcoz you choose to listen to the position counter at the top of the screen but later to find out once the race has ended that you whr no whr near first :'(

And thats not even the worst part, Once a race has finished and everybody in the pre-race lobby waiting for the next rack to load up you will be literally waiting anywhere from 5-15mins NO JOKE [Rage]
Longest i wait was 20mins and buy the time it desided to load thr was only me and one other person, But alot of the time if you waiting about 10mins the connection will just time out and you can site thr till the cows come home and it wont load, Then the only way oput of it is to Reset your PS3 bcoz pressing quit wont do shyt, Also alot of Freezing during them loading screens and pre-race lobbys, I froze about 30+ times and PS3 did not like me reseting all the time and had to hard drive rebuild afewtimes ect ect

So pretty much if you plane to play online no matter you connection is hard to get in a decent session let alone finish a 5-6 race champianship with out freezing or the connection timing out.

Other than them online issues it a good game and worth the buy if you like your racers ;)

I was actually going to do a review soon after i bought it but it pissed me off that much that i havent touched it since the 1st week it was out, Mainly bcoz with most of my games i go straight online.

I still preffer NFS"HP even tho it is different driving style but as an overall product its NFS"HP is almost faultless, Servers are awesome, Track are nicely layed out, Visuals are nice, Cars are smexy, And just the competitive feal you get from it is awesome, Which you really dont get to often!

Yes would agree with the online its the reason i have stopped playing the game, you take the corner nicely and your opponents bounce of the walls and end up 100m in front of you. I try do do it and it crashes it gets you so pissed off, with getting a game and staying connected i didn't have any problems like that. For me the servers on hot pursuit where a lot better. Single player is fun but you do get some really good challenges.

I actually love it. Feels like a movie. The score is amazing. I feel it gets your heart racing. And the story is actually bland but you just want to know what happens next! But that's me. I love cheesy, cliche' stories. Just a thing for me
