So maybe this will get locked for being too similar to the PS3 vs 360 topic, but meh :S
This is more of a question than an opinion, but which one has better exclusives and what are they?

360 mainly has shooters for exclusives (halo/gears) while the ps3 is more well rounded (little big planet, uncharted, ratchet and clank).
Really just depends on what you enjoy.

What I've listed are just examples, there's a lot more exclusives for both of them :P

I seriously dislike exclusives because it resulted in me having to own both consoles.

But for me I was originally just a PS3 owner not because of exclusive games but for the simply fact I've owned all other Playstation consoles so I wanted to continue it on.

I did recently buy a Xbox because I gave in I really wanted to play Forza which is annoyingly a Xbox exclusive.

I wouldn't say either are a big winner in exclusives both have their fare share of great games but it's going to be a personal choice.

I can't say this thread will last long though no doubt someone will ruin it.

I think 360 won the fight initially but for recent games, you can't go past the PS3. It's the only console that's had a steady flow of exclusives.
That said, 2012 is looking pretty dead, the deeper into the year we get. I think it's going to be pretty dry for new IPs and exclusive franchises next year.

God of War 4 - PS4
Infamous 3 - PS4
MGS5 - PS4
GT6 - PS4

Can't see any of them coming to PS3.

Sony always had the most 1st party studios and generally they treat their 2nd party studios better than microsoft.

Also, PS3 tends to get more exclusives (especially lately) with with more variety in genres (just this year we've had LBP2, KZ3, Infamous 2, and Uncharted 3).

Personal taste does come into it though. Some people dislike pretty much every PS3 exclusive in existence... :P while they love their Gears of War, Halo, and Forza.

End of the day...the console which has the better exclusives is the one with the games your going to play and enjoy the most.
