Was just wondering what(if any) differences there ae between the 80gig Ps3 & the new Ps3 Slim.
I am just trying to work out which model to get.
Can you upgrade the HDD in the slim? Card readers SD etc??
Any help on this subject would be much appreciated

i buy the extended warranty as it usually last till the next model comes out, where i then buy that with the new warranty

Got myself the last Phat PS3 up here on the weekend.
Love it.
Cost me $470 with free 2 year extended warranty, free HDMI cable & Guitar Hero World game.

an ethernet cable plugs into ur router...

yes it can, but the distance between his router and his ps3 might be quite large and he could have 10 walls in between so it could be in his best interest to get a cable..

yeh ive pre ordered one, and yeh there is a few walls between my room and the router, for 15 bucks it'll save me alot of time

hope they fix the issue with wifi on the slim, I'd to set my router in B mode for the 80GB fat to get a decent wifi speed, even at 100% signal while on G mode it was so slow.

Does anyone know what GAME's procedures on pre orders are? I paid the $20 deposit last week and i noticed last night they had taken the remainder.
Guessing it's just normal procedure and i will get it friday, HOPING that it may mean it comes a little earlier though
