Was just wondering what(if any) differences there ae between the 80gig Ps3 & the new Ps3 Slim.
I am just trying to work out which model to get.
Can you upgrade the HDD in the slim? Card readers SD etc??
Any help on this subject would be much appreciated

if i bought a ps3 slim, would there be a way to like sync all the crap off my ps3 downstairs to the slim that will go in my room?

Does anyones slim gets hot at the back, I've notice that it gets fairly hot after a few hours of playing, is that gonna cause any overheating problems?

Ok, its effectiveness is debatable ... but logically speaking, blowing hot air out can only mean a good thing right? Trying to keep the insides cooler? xD

I've left my Slim on for nearly 24 hours the other day ... just redownloading my PSN content. It survived lol.

I'm still not comfortable with this. Those with PS3 Slims, when you're ejecting a disc ... does it sound like two gunshots?! =/

So Skidmark, what games have you gotten so far? I will hopefully be getting my PS3 tomorrow morning along with Batman Arkham Asylum. **** Smith bundle is quite good, also with my staff discount, even cheaper!

Are Blu-Rays actually better than DVDs?

Hey i got EB Games to match the dickk smith deal

Its awesome and you wont be disappointed. As for blu rays? If you dont have the HD cable you wont know the difference..

I got the same deal at DSE. I've got Batman, Killzone 2, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted and Dirt. Pretty happy with them all.
BluRay is much better than DVD.

They're going to reset all my Singstore content in one go.

Then they'll send me an e-mail saying it's completed ... and away I go redownloading all my purchases

Whats the name of those adapters which let you plug more than one HD cable into one HD port. What are they called? how much are they? And where to get em??

searching for ages but with no luck, foxtel IQ takes up my only HD port

I just bought a PS3 Slim. As soon as I unpacked it, something hit me. WHY THE HELL DID I JUST PURCHASE ANOTHER PS3? I highly regret this decision as I realised all my saved data was not on the new one, plus all the downloaded games I have are on the other one.

No the PS3 slim has a bigger fan then your precious 60 gb.
