Does anyone know where us Australians can purchase one of these?

I was only thinking the same thing myself last night... had a look and couldnt find anything either.. I emailed playseat too and they have advised they can not ship to Australia.. someone could make a killing importing these things for a good price..

and $650 is not a good price!

www.thegamingcollection.com.au/ has a very very dodgey history of shipping factory seconds of the playseat they pickup for cheap , marking them up to a ridiculous price an shipping them

you can read more about it on racesimcentral.com

your better off importing one from the offical playseat site works out cheaper

or better yet make friends with a welder an have your own made an pick up a seat from a wreckers

Yea, I'm considering that. My Dad's a mechanic. But the Playseats looks so nice and classy though

I'll see if any American sites offer international shipping. Hopefully it's not TOO expensive ... I bet you it is ...

The kitchen seat & a old telephone phone type of hallway table works well for me. I got both the G25 & Momo Wheel attached to the table & keep it stored against the wall then just slide it out when using it. I cant explain how much trouble id be in for buying one of these seats, I nearly didnt survive buying the G25 LOL , the fiancee wasnt impressed.

Ok the dude at "The Gaming Collection" replied to me. His name's Geoff or Glynis ...

He says he can offer me a 10% discount if I purchase 2 or more Playseats.

So what ... that's only a $65 saving? (10% of $650)

Yea, the Hyperdrive at $39.95 at Harvey Norman (am I right?) is pretty affordable.

Very simplistic. Only reason why I'm having second thoughts is because the Playseat looks more appealing lol.

But then I guess they both do the same thing ... and maybe it ain't worth spending the extra $560 or something ...

These are awesome - I just came across them today when looking for a simulation package in preparation for GT5... Was gonna put up a thread on em but found there was already this old one and thought I'd bring it's attention back as we near the GT5 release date - Anyways here's a few more pic's and yeah wutang01 - www.thegamingcollection.com.au/... was the only Aus place that sells them that I could find too...

There mark up in Aus is ridiculous though mind you.

I've gotta use some sense and self control here but it's so freaking hard - they looks so mad!
