I grabbed this today on the PC, and I'm a bit disappointed with the release. It's like a dodgy console port. :(

Im enjoying this game but I might trade it for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon LE nxt week because the story isn't really intrest me it makes don't care what happens next. It has great graphics, good gameplay n sound, the story is ok but it's not for me. It's not pulling me in.

I'm not one of those typical gamer critics who just say 'this game is s**t' with no reason why or respect for ppls feelings who are reading their post. Sum of these ppl r in MMGN but I won't name them but sum of u may know them [Shifty]

Only played a little and it's not too bad. Chucked in the third disc and the online car combat part is actually pretty good...it's like two games in one

Yeah I was super surprised at just how much fun, and how solid the car combat really is!

Glad to hear that @adjac I see the points that are bad about the game, as other reviewers have but I think it's important to highlight the good qualities of the game. I think a lot of reviewers crucified it because they expected an open world and it wasn't provided to them. Yeah I wanted to go exploring too, and sure I was disappointed that I couldn't, but the game still had a lot of worth.

I heard that the main campaign will take 15hrs to finish. That's pretty disappointing for a 1Tb (3 disc for XB360) game. I wasn't surprise when I first heard it but it's hard for developers to balance graphics, sound and gameplay but if they didn't put a multiplayer then they might add another 5-10 hrs to the campaign.

@LMA0 just because a game is 22gb (not 1TB) doesn't dictate how long it is. Most of that was taken up by texture files, which is why the game looks so damn good [Derp]

I wasn't talking about the PC version. It's touch and go depending what GPU you are running and there are fixes out there. Expected more from id but I'm sure they'll have an official fix for us soon.

sorry my mistake but I think I heard it was a 1Tb game when read in a article that the developer said that the uncompressed software version is about 1Tb.

It runs super smooth on my GTX580 with the texture fix and Beta Drivers, however I dont have any sound in-game. Rage is making me RAGE!! [Rage]

i haven't played it but this is the general idea i've got. It is a good game but people are finding faults in the game easily because (A) it's been in development and hyped for a while and (B) the descriptions of the game as open-world and free are misleading and near-false.

E: Theres also some PC issues going on but it runs fine on consoles
