Raccoon City isn't 6 though is it? Ain't it some co-op based game like Outbreak developed by the guy's behind Socom?

I don't want 6 though, i want a complete reboot of the series no.5 left a sour taste in my mouth.

Last I heard in a copy of HYPER a few months ago, they were considering a full reboot of the series ala the new tomb raider game. I am hoping they go back to old school zombies and infected animals and stuff, no more las plagas, please.

A full remake of RE1 & 2 would be epic. I haven't played 4 and 5 was ok but not really worthy of the Resident Evil title

The original got a fully fledged remake on the Gamecube, never know, might hit the PSN sometime.

I assume another spin-off...im so glad that they've gone back to racoon city... but this kinda put me off "a true third person team based shooter experience" i dunno, but it will be interesting on how they implement this... Its back to Racoon City *_*

Yeah hopefully it will go back to the horror style of the first two games. The first two scare the crap out of you, the others feel flat in the scares department but good in the gameplay mechanics. A nice mixture of the two will make for something special I think.

I loved RE4. RE5 was fun, but in terms of it being survival horror (which it wasn't) it kind of brought the series in a direction I think many gamers hated.

I want slow, restrictive gameplay. It needs to be "survival".
